UAM provides a network for moms with children ages 0-5 – a supportive environment where we can share in the struggles and joys of bringing up young children.

1. The group helps offset the isolation that many moms experience, and helps provide a sense of community with other women whose circumstances are similar to our own.

2. We also aim to develop our children’s social skills through fun and enriching activities.

3. The third function of our group is to serve the community, by helping each other, extending friendship to other moms, and supporting local charities for mothers and children.

We strive for inclusion of all interested mothers and fathers of young children. Founded in 1996, our organization attracts families in Charlotte and the surrounding areas.
